About Leslie Wells
I grew up in the country and always enjoyed my big sky views, from a young age I noticed the way the light and shadow painted the valley and nearby hills where we lived and I always wanted to capture it on paper. Try as I might, painting was simply not for me, but when I was 10 years old I found a way I could capture that light… a camera!
I first picked up that camera at age 10, a gift from my parents to keep me busy over summer vacation. Later, I took photography classes and taught lab classes throughout my high school years and went on to major in Photography – Fine Arts at Sierra College in Rocklin California, where I specialized in environment portraiture, and studio photography, I started my own family photography business in 1998, and have enjoyed being able to capture the important events for many other families over the years, because as a mom, I know all too well how fast the time goes by and children grow up. Now some of the newborns I photographed have newborns of their own!
I specialize in family photography and for my new moms and moms to be, I have a mobile studio and will come to your home for maternity and newborn portrait sessions. Are you planning a small wedding or elopement? Or having a courthouse ceremony? Ask me about formal wedding portraits in a beautiful location before or after your ceremony.
Thank you for the opportunity to meet your family and memorialize some special moments for you!
